Canada Foundation for Innovation: John R. Evans Leaders Fund

Congratulations to Dr. Sharon Hou’s Culture and Child Health Lab for receiving the Canada Foundation for Innovation: John R. Evans Leaders Fund (CHI-JELF)!

The funding of $225,000 has been awarded for: "Culture and Child Health Lab: Creating a culturally responsive pathway for child health equity" for a duration of 5 years.

The CFI-JELF is provided to advance infrastructure and equipment of our team to carry out research. The Culture and Child Health Lab will use the funds to secure wearable technology, improve and increase the functionality of our physical lab space, and support remote/mobile recruitment methods to enhance youth health and well-being.
