Dr. Hou was honoured to be the keynote speaker at the Women+ in Science event at BC Children's Hospital Research Institute.

In her presentation titled,“What You Care About Matters: Embracing Cultural Diversity in Child Health Research”, she had the opportunity to share her reflections on how embracing what matters to you, such as your values, identities, passions, and communities, can help guide choices, build connections, and shape meaningful work. It was very special for Dr. Hou to be part of such an inspiring space for young people as they explore their futures in science.
